Prinkash pottery comes from Prinkash Abbey in the Vale of Gloucester where it was made by the Benedictine monks themselves until the pottery was sold in the early 1990s

with brass detail at the top which is very tranished so looks like darker metal

5cm  high x 13cm deep

The little feet are slightly timeworn but they look gorgeous as footstools or little plinth to display objects or books

Probably dating from the 1960s and framed with a lovely black frame (no glass) so you can feel the lovely texture of the needlework. A perfect silhouette of a romantic Victorian proposal.
